WARNING: This article contains spoilers

On Sky Atlantic you can watch one of the most eagerly anticipated series of the moment, Game of Thrones. Sky TV will be one of the first broadcasters in the UK to release the latest Season 7, and on the very same date as it is released in the US! Sound good to you? You can therefore watch Season 7 of Game of Thrones on Sky Atlantic on the 17th of July at 2am (repeated at 9pm on the same day).

This year has been a surprise as the new seasons are usually debuted in the Spring (in early April), but this year HBO has decided to delay its release.

According to David Benioff and Dan Weis, the producers of the series: “We’re starting a bit later because at the end of this season, ‘Winter is here’ – and that means that sunny weather doesn’t really serve our purposes any more. So we kind of pushed everything down the line, so we could get some grim grey weather even in the sunnier places that we shoot.”

Following a record-breaking sixth season, which was finished with Daenerys’ setting sail for the Seven Kingdoms, Jon Snow being named King of the North, Cersei seizing the Iron Throne and the Night King amassing forces, it is now time to rally the realm as Winter is here…

While we are awaiting the 17th of July with baited breath, we can enjoy the trailer of the new season that will be broadcasted on Sky Atlantic.

What do you think that is going to happen in the next season? Make your bets!
